Silver City Health Center

Silver City Health Center offers affordable high-quality primary care, in-depth clinical evaluation, and a range of program-specific health services to English and Spanish-speaking residents of Wyandotte and Johnson counties. The Center provides primary health care and health education resource access to individuals without insurance, as well as those who have government or private insurance coverage.

Silver City Health Center is a member of the Wyandotte County Safety Net Clinic Coalition, the Medical Society of Johnson and Wyandotte Counties Specialist Referral Program (Wy/Jo Care), the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Diabetes Quality of Care Initiative, and KC CareLink's metropolitan-wide Healthcare Information Exchange. Silver City provides outreach services through participation in community and school projects, such as sports physicals for Argentine Middle School students and education at El Centro. Silver City Health Center's staff also provides collaborative working relationships about chronic disease, health promotion and safety, and preventive care with local community partners.

Charitable Contributions

Financial contributions to Silver City Health Center may be made through KU Endowment, the private fundraising arm of the University of Kansas. Although it works closely with university leaders, KU Endowment is an independent, nonprofit foundation.One hundred percent of the principal of every gift made is allocated for the purpose designated by the donor.
